Commission plans, like butterflies are hard to pin down – and there are myriad variations!

CommissionCalc™ is designed to handle this complex variety. Do you use sales quotas, spiffs, bonuses, or tiered commission rates? Pay rebates or royalties? Pay on receipt of payment or invoicing, or perhaps pay on invoicing and then deduct for late payments? Have multiple plans and exceptions, depending on the salesperson, broker, customer, product type, discount, or other variables? Allocate and split payment to different recipients based on product, customer, territory, or other factors? No problem.

What accounts for this flexibility? First, CommissionCalc has a custom template which defines your unique calculations for each invoice line, invoice summary, customer summary, and sales summary. Second, calculations can be based on any database column from the main order entry, accounts receivable, and related database tables. Third, you can define a virtually unlimited number of parameter tables, so you can analyze commissions in hundreds of user-defined dimensions. For example, you can specify commission rates, quota levels, or salesperson IDs based on user-defined parameters such as item number, discount, customer, cumulative sales, or almost anything else.

To compute commissions, simple click on "Compute Commission", then enter the date range and company in this dialog box.

CommissionCalc automatically computes a commission worksheet for each salesperson, plus a summary sheet showing the earnings of all salespeople.

CommissionCalc reads orders entered with the following Prerequisite software:

· Microsoft Dynamics GP and SL

· Sage Accpac ERP

· Exact Macola Progression and ES  

· Sage MAS 90/200

CommissionCalc is built from modern, effective Technology. It implements general purpose commission logic in a standard Dynamic Link Library (DLL). This DLL reads your accounting data via Microsoft SQL or Pervasive SQL. Also, it uses Microsoft Excel as the user interface, as well as to enter the templates and parameter tables which define your commission rules. Custom programming is available, but rarely required, since most commission rules can be defined in the template.
